All About Us
The Pocono Rail Historical Society was formed under the Pocono Mountains Chapter of the NRHS in 1993.
The group operates the Tobyhanna Train Station as a museum and model train club. The Tobyhanna Station was built in 1908 by the Lackawanna Railroad. The station was abandoned in 1975 by the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. The restoration of the station began in 1995. Tobyhanna Station is open Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm, volunteer permitting.
Pocono Rail Historical Society is a 501c3 non-profit organization. New members are always welcome!
